Blacktown Intensive Care Unit is committed to excellence in education, research and the delivery of the highest quality clinical services.

As both a University and Faculty Teaching hospital, the Unit provides a large number of placements for students, Resident Medical Officers / House Officers, Registrars and Senior Registrars, who benefit from the expertise and experience of some of the most skilled clinicians in Australia.

Over the years, the Unit has built a substantial reputation for conducting local investigator driven clinical research, as well as being involved in multi-centre international Intensive Care trials.
